About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development (Real Estate) to lead our developer partnership strategy and homebuyer growth. This role is about building deep relationships with Norway’s leading residential developers, brokers, and partners — and ensuring that shared ownership becomes a mainstream path to homeownership.

As Living Impact is currently in its fundraising stage, we are unable to offer a salary at the start of this role. However, we are committed to providing meaningful equity, deferred compensation, and a chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future. This position is ideal for a bold, entrepreneurial leader who thrives on partnerships, market building, and creating long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developer Partnerships: Secure and grow relationships with top developers, ensuring Living Impact is their preferred partner for shared ownership projects.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with developers to launch projects, run pre-sales, and drive customer adoption.
  • Homebuyer Growth: Design and lead the sales funnel for shared ownership units — from lead generation to customer conversion.
  • Distribution Network: Build strategic partnerships with real estate agencies, brokers, and housing associations to expand reach.
  • Pipeline Development: Identify and secure new residential projects that align with Living Impact’s model.
  • Market Feedback: Capture developer and customer insights to help refine product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Represent Living Impact in negotiations, partnerships, and industry forums to strengthen credibility and market position.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales & partnerships team.
  • Accountability: Take full ownership for partnership growth, project uptake, and homebuyer adoption.

Who You Are

  • Proven Deal-Maker: 7+ years in business development, residential sales, or developer relations, with a track record of closing strategic partnerships.
  • Network Builder: Established relationships within the Norwegian real estate ecosystem (developers, brokers, banks, housing associations).
  • Customer-Focused: Skilled at understanding buyer needs and designing solutions that resonate.
  • Strategic Operator: Experienced in creating scalable go-to-market and distribution strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial: Thrives in early-stage, high-growth environments.
  • Team Builder: Track record of hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Local Market Expert: Deep knowledge of the Norwegian residential housing market.
